When is the Observatory open? Other than special events or private groups booking a viewing time. It is the intention to be open for public viewing on the following dates. ~~ That viewing sessions are arranged as to best fit the first quarter Moon., and on a Friday night. ( a week before a full moon.) ~~ Astronomy viewing is ALWAYS weather dependant. September: 29 th. October: 13 th. and 27 th. November: 10 th. and 24 th. December: 1 st. and 8 th and 22 nd.
