The two Hatrick riverboats known as the sisters at Pipiriki on the Wanganui river, The Waiora and the Wairua both built in 1904 at Wanganui . The Mv Wairua has been salvaged and runs a passenger service on the Wanganui River, the other was cut up and most of it scrapped while the stern section still lies in the Wanganui River across from the Riverboat museum
